Blue Triad SL Black Limited Edition
With big names like Andreas Raelert and Dirk Bockel having ridden this very design to phenomenal bike splits in Kona, this is certainly a proven design. For 2012, the Triad SL comes in this Limited Edition version with a stealthy matt black look. The Triad SL boasts some of the highest end technology in the industry making this ride a true Super Bike. That high level technology oozes through the bike and can be easily seen on features such as the Power-Arc curved chain stay - designed to not only create a wind shadow for the rear cassette and derailleur but the specific shape used minimizes the apparent frontal area and that means less drag for the rider to overcome.
All of our range of Triad SLs feature the redesigned seatpost, eliminating the integrated aspect, allowing for easier travel and fit adjustments whilst maintaining the high level of aerodynamics. The integrated stem is another of the more evident aerodynamic elements of this bike, keeping the front end neat and tidy into that oncoming wind. With an extension set there is no compromise on fit quality though as this bike allows for a superb range of adjustability to find that optimum power, aerodynamic and comfort balance.
The main change for the 2012 model is a slight frame weight reduction as a result of the new carbon layup, mixing 30T and 40T carbon. What does that mean? Well basically the frame weight is now down to approximately 1300g whilst retaining the frame stiffness.
